The World through Cracked Out Sleep Deprived Eyes

Reading this article, I can’t help but wonder if the CEO of this company is actually Dr. Evil, sitting in his HQ petting his fluffy white cat and perfecting his evil laugh. Think about it… In Austin Powers, Dr. Evil held the world hostage to make a few bucks… and then here is Exxon and various other oil conglomerates who are holding the world hostage and choking every last dime from us. The auto industry is getting ripped apart, companies are downsizing like there’s no tomorrow, the housing market is going down the toilet… and the only industry reaping benifits are the oil industry. Does anyone else think that Exxon is being a little petty in the wake their infamous lawsuit? Or that they are so unoriginal in their thinking that they resort to following the methodology of Microsoft and Starbucks to make a few bucks? The sad part is that we have the technology to produce cheaper more efficient NON GAS dependent vehicles that work as well as the cars we love to drive right now… The Tesla is proof of that. But because of the oil companies team up with the auto industry to strangle any real advancement in the development of these vehicles, we are years away from seeing a suitable solution. I bet the auto industry is sitting there thinking to themselves “Et tu brutus?”
